Confession Number Fifty-Four

I must confess...

that I have been insanely busy for the past two months and I would like to apologize for not keeping this blog up-to-date.

Delia and I started school at the end of August and we have been so very busy. Our classes are pretty hard this year. We are Juniors so this year is very important for colleges. We've been trying to adjust to our new teachers and we are finally getting a hang of it.

Also, our life in the theatre has been demanding. I am the Assistant Stage Manager for our first show, which will be showing soon and I am the Film Designer for our second show. Delia is the Set Designer for the first show and Co-Set Designer for the second (?).

Fulfilling two jobs for two different shows that are happening at the same time is very taxing. I have had two 14 hour days so far (School at 7 and show stuff until 9). Delia also had a 14 hour day recently.

Now, I bet I sound like I am complaining. But I am not. I am absolutely loving it! Being able to help out and design things is wonderful. And we are always having fun with each other, even on the bad days. Sure, we may be lacking in sleep, but that just makes it all the more fun when you get slap happy.

Today I designed a commercial for our first show (even though I'm ASM for it) and I completely loved the final product. I felt so professional and I am even tempted to send it to a local news station.

Also, designing the film aspects of our second show has been such a great new experience. Filming on location and deciding all of the shots and scenes has been awesome! I haven't started editing the videos yet because I am so occupied with our first show. It's going to be awesome!

Well, I guess that's it for now...

Confession Number Forty-Six

I must confess...

... that I have been very lazy lately regarding my life on the internet. I think I subconsciously took a break from the internet.

I still stay filled in on the latest info, but I do not post as much content on the web.

However, I believe all of this will change after viewing our recent visitor info thanks to site meter.

Currently, I am editing a video that has to do with 6 Monopoly characters. It will be a short series at the least, but every one's schedules are getting filled as school draws nearer (screw AP reading!).

I apologize for the recent shortage of posts. They come in waves as you can tell.

Maybe Delia will blog a little about her Surprise 16th Birthday Party =)

Confession Number Forty-Two

I must confess...

... that I have started to blog again on my personal blog.

Yes, after 6 months I have began to blog again.

Now Justin. Surly you won't be updating your blog that often. I mean last time it took you a whole month to write a new post.

WRONG! I have decided that I will try to keep it updated more.

How are you going to remember to update it?

Well, I've started this Vlog-like thing. I will record a short video of something and then post it on the blog along with a written explanation.

Are you using YouTube to host your videos?

Nope. I am using blip.tv. I wanted to keep my YouTube account specifically for edited videos and special videos I make. Blip.tv will be a more personal account for me.


I am very excited to do this. I've got two posts up right now. Just head over to just-in-news.blogspot.com and read them.

Confession Number Twenty

I must confess...

... that I am planning on making a new video for youtube soon. I have no name for it yet, but I will give you some hints to what it will include.

It will include:

• Lip-syncing
• A Break-Up
• Cross-Dressing
• And Me!

Now aren't you excited?! I am not sure when I will make this video, but I think it will be soon. I still need to make the script. Maybe I'll go ahead and do that now and then have my creative team look over it for any suggestions.

It should be soon.

Also, I am making another commercial for a project at school which should be pretty nice. It has to be done by Friday, so it will be up sometime next weekend!
