Confession Number Thirty-Seven

I must confess...

...that when I watched this:

I started thinking about my own second grade experiance. And the first memory I remember is that Justin and I weren't in the same class. We were in the same class in first grade, you see, and we were like, best friends forever.

I think that I saw Justin's class going to lunch or recess or something, and my class's line passed his class's line and I saw him and wanted to wave but didn't while feeling sort of alone and sad.

This, of course, passed as the year went on because I had (and still have) a short attention span, and so I got over it pretty quick and made new friends.

Still, Justin, you broke my heart. :P

(I'm thinking about giving this blog a makeover soon, in terms of the layout and stuff. Stay tuned.)

Confession Number Thirty-Six

I must confess...
... that I am in LOVE with Justine Ezarik, otherwise known as iJustine in the internet world. She is like everything I want to be but more.

She is the internet, and says so herself. She has a blog, a justin.tv channel, a youtube channel, a myspace, a facebook fan page, a twitter, and even a second beta website.

She is a freelance graphic and web designer and video editor. Just about everything I want to be! But there is one thing about her that I absolutely adore...

SHE'S AN APPLE FANATIC!

She is a freaking consultant on Macbreak, a podcast all about Apple products. Not only that, but she recieved international news coverage when she made a video about recieving a 300 paged iPhone bill from AT&T. She rocks.

I would love to be an Apple Fanatic. But it would be useless to turn into an Apple lover right now because all of the computers in my house are Windows-based. But I want SO BAD to have a Macbook and an iPhone and an Apple TV and an iMac and just everything Apple!

Oh, and the fact that she drew the Twitter Fail Whale in the sand on the beech just makes my heart palpitate.

I love iJustine. She is my idol.

(I'm tempted to invite her to the league of internet whores. )

Confession Number Thirty-Five

I must confess...

...that I'm a Twilighter.

There is so much I rave about concerning the Twilight series; so very, very much. Since I have a male co-blogger who has probably not read it and has no interest in doing so (the boyfriend doesn't either, because he's obviously close-minded in his male stereotypes, something which I will remedy), Twilight, by Stephenie Meyer, is the first in a four-part saga written from the perspective of a 17 year-old girl named Bella, who is going to live with her father in the dreary, rainy, little town of Forks, Washington, since her mother is getting remarried.

At Forks High, she meets the mysterious Edward Cullen and his siblings, who are reclusive despite being devestatingly beautiful, and becomes irrevocably invovled in their world and their secret.

This is not the point of my entry, but more boys should read this book. If you are a smart male, you will read this book. There are females all over the world, ranging from ages 12 to 35 who have devoured this book, and there's a reason: Edward is the perfect male. So, just a little peice of advice from me: READ THIS BOOK BOYS, AND TAKE SOME TIPS FROM EDWARD.

Anyway, none of that is the point. The point is that I just pre-ordered my copy of Breaking Dawn, the fourth and final book in the Twilight series, which is released in 19 days. I am so excited I cannot even express.

(Also, I ordered Havemercy by Jaida Jones and Danielle Bennett, which I'm also irrevocably excited about because JAIDA IS A GODDESS I TELL YOU, A GODDESS AMONG MORTALS.)

So, basically whenever Amazon.com gets my books to me, I will disappear from the face of the earth for a day or two while I devour Breaking Dawn like a rapid, starving animal.

What books or movies or fandoms in general do you just get crazy about?
(Yeah, I'm going to start asking questions now. Get involved, bbs.)

Confession Number Thirty-Four

I must confess...

... that I can't wait until my older brother moves out of the house and goes off to college.

The main reason I can't wait is because I will finally have my own bedroom! This will happen because my youngest brother, who I currently room with, will be moving into my older brother's soon-to-be-old room.

For just about my entire life, except for when I was an infant, I had to share a room with one of my brothers. They have switched in and out, each getting their own bedroom as they left. IT'S MY TURN NOW!

And the best part about this is that I will have the largest bedroom of all of my brothers! I will be glad to help my brother move in to college!

Confession Number Thirty-Three

I must confess...

... that my vocabulary has significantly worsened since school has been let out. I try to think of words to describe things and they just aren't in my mind. Well, they are, I just have to pry into my brain for awhile in order to get them to come out.

For example; I had trouble thinking of the word morbid for Confession Number Thirty-Two. I knew the I knew a word to describe something related to death, but it took me awhile. At first I thought of gruesome, but I knew that wasn't right. I finally figured it out.

Another example; I couldn't figure out how to tell my brother that my new computer had crashed the night before. Instead, I simply just said 'shut down', and, although it got the point across, it wasn't as effective.

Maybe when I start all that summer reading I should be doing my vocabulary will resurrect from the pits of my mind.

Confession Number Thirty-Two

I must confess...

... that I am curious as to how someone was beheaded by the Batman roller coaster at Six Flags Amusement Park in Georgia.

I know I am being a little morbid, but I am just wondering. Did some one's legs catch him as they went through the bottom half of the loop? Or was his head caught on one of the roller coaster's cars?

Well, after looking at some videos and pictures of the roller coaster, I have decided that it was probably both. I'm sure the major force came from the roller coaster cars themselves, but I bet someone's legs helped wrap the teenager up in the coaster.

Take a look at this picture so you can see for yourself how low this coaster gets to the ground. It helps make things a lot clearer.
But, to be clearer, this guy was an idiot. However, one person that doesn't get pointed at for being an idiot is his friend who went with him. The two of them jumped over two six foot fences that were marked with signs waring "Danger" and "Restricted Area: Authorized Personnel Only". From there they continued to run under the ride towards the park. And why did they do this? To get back into the park faster after eating their lunch outside of the park. Simply because they did not want to take the time to go back in through the correct entrance.
IDEA! They should make a ride that puts people into simulated situations of theme park traumas. They could have wax statues of 17 year old boys with no head and a girl with two severed feet along with a cable wrapped around her ankles. Okay, now I'm getting too morbid.

Confession Number Thirty-One

I must confess...

... that I have gotten myself a laptop today. Yes, a laptop, all for myself.

I know what you're thinking... "But you're only a Junior in High School!", "You don't need your own computer!" And I would have to agree with you. However, I have wanted my own laptop for awhile now. Originally, I was looking at Macbooks, but I just love my money too much (Sorry Apple, I still love you). Instead, I got myself a Gateway M-1626.

This Gateway is UH-MAZING! It has a 4GB Memory, which is very difficult to find in a laptop at a low price. And... AND... it has a 250GB harddrive! 250! Not to mention, it has one of the best Graphics Cards for a laptop. The only downside is the mousepad, which I can definitely live with because I plan on getting a wireless mouse.

All of this was only $650! Six Hundred and Fifty Dollars! I would have expected something like this to be at least $900.

So, I officialy love it. I will probably use it for the rest of my blogging for a while.
